Laura has been with Dr. Dextraze for over 20 years as an assistant and then as a Receptionist and Office Manager. She has lived most of her life in Kamloops, raising two children, Kris and Tara. Her interests are family, long walks, reading and music.
Janet has been a hygienist with Dr. Dextraze's office since 1997 when she moved from Ontario. A graduate of Canadore College, North Bay, Ontario, she has numerous years of experience in the dental field. Janet enjoys her family life with her husband, Gord and their five children.
Vivian has been at the front desk with Laura and Hilary since 1999. She looks after the office promotions and assists patients with their continuous care contacts. She has lived in Kamloops for most of her life and has raised her two daughters, Bonnie and Bobbie in the community. Vivian and her husband, Robert, enjoy camping and fishing. Vivian likes to read and travel.
Hilary is our Financial Secretary and has been with our office since 1995. She started working in a dental office in 1980. She enjoys assisting with the patients as well as doing the financial aspect of the practice. Hilary has two children, Steven and Kayleigh. In her spare time, she likes to travel, take photos and put them into scrapbooks.
Bobbie-Jo has been a Certified Dental Assistant here since she graduated from Okanagan University College in June 1998. She has also completed the Prosthodontic Module from the Okanagan University College, expanding her duties to include making provisional (temporary) crowns. Bobbie-Jo and her husband Brad have a daughter; Mataya whom is the joy of their life and are very excited about their son, Cole. Family is their priority at the moment!
Leanne has been a Certified Dental Assistant having graduated from Okanagan University College in Kelowna in June 2003. She has been assisting in Dr. Dextraze's office full time since January 2004. Leanne and her daughter, Courtney, moved to Kamloops in April, 2004 and both are adjusting well and enjoying their new home in this beautiful city.
