Dr. Dextraze believes his purpose is to deliver high quality dental care and to raise patient's level of awareness and approach to their dental health. His fulfilling achievements and interests are in esthetic and cosmetic dentistry, and his greatest reward comes from seeing a patient's radiant smile after completion of treatment. Beside being extremely interested in your comfort, Dr. Dextraze is attentive to the latest techniques in all aspects of dental care. He has taken extensive post graduate continuing education courses on implants, cosmetic procedures, dental computer imaging, periodontics, treatment planning, records management, infection control and oral medicine. Born in Ontario, Dr. Dextraze moved with his family to Alberta where he spent most of his childhood and early adult years. He graduated from the University of Alberta in Edmonton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971, and in 1975 received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He moved to Kamloops in 1975 and set up his practice in the Fortune Centre. Besides travel and sports activities, Dr. Dextraze enjoys spending time with his family.
